Altpipe is split into two pages. On the first page you will be asked to give details about the project, pipe, and environment. The second page uses the information given to find materials that will meet the structural requirements. You will then be asked to choose a steel thickness and based on your selection the program will calculate expected lifespans for the various coating materials depending on the abrasion and corrosion conditions.

After making your selection on the second page you can then save the pipe and then add another pipe. After adding all of your pipes you can then access a summary page which lists the results for each pipe. The summary page is setup vertical so it can fit on a 11"X17" sheet of paper.
